Raagi Mudde/sangati

Cooking time: 10-15 minutes


Ingredients:


1 coffee mug Raagi flour

Scoop handful of cooked rice

Salt


Method:


1) Pour one coffee mug of raagi flour into casserole dish

2) Add pinch of salt and hand scoop of cooked rice to ragi

3) Add enough boiling water into casserole dish to make ragi muddhi consistency

4) Blend raagi and water with hand blender

5) Place blended raagi mixture in microwave for 2 mintues (850 W)

6) Take out of microwave and blend mixture more

7) Place in microwave again for another 2 minutes (850 W)

8) Mix mixture and check right consistency, may need to leave raagi muddei to cool for a bit to become more solid

9) When serving ragi mudde make into balls: put ghee in bowl, serve spoon of raagi mudde into bowl with table spoon kept in cold water, make raagi into ball shape by churning in the bowl

10) Cover raagi mudde with ghee and then eat mudde with rasam/koora/sambar
